Hand mixers are indispensable in the kitchen: they knead cake dough, whip egg whites and cream. In Stiftung Warentest's hand mixer test: 17 hand mixers in the price range between 15 and 90 euros, including appliances from Krups, Bosch and WMF. Six hand mixers were convincing, two of them with a blender attachment. Several appliances are annoying because of their noise. One mid-priced blender fails: It failed the endurance test. Out of competition, we tested the GDR cult blender RG28 - it cut a good figure.
