Children's toothpaste tested - very good protection for less than one euro
Toothpaste for milk teeth must provide reliable protection against tooth decay - this requires fluoride. However, children's toothpaste should not contain titanium dioxide. The colourant is controversial and unnecessary. Not all toothpastes tested fulfil these requirements - the quality ratings in our database of 26 children's toothpastes range from very good to poor. We are pleased to see that many of the 11 children's toothpastes tested in the latest test are recommendable products. Some suppliers have revised their formulas - and now get better marks from us than before. And best of all: recommendable products are available for as little as 45 cents per tube.
