Gardena AquaBloom Set
Drip irrigation set
I did not find one single kit. If anyone knows, though, I'd be interested too.
There is no difference, but with solar irrigation you have to take at least 12 pieces (who needs that at home). The single one has been out of stock for weeks. The answer from Galaxus customer service is a disaster, they don't understand the issue at all.
According to the manufacturer, 20 droppers are the maximum
Complete set with hose material and drippers, you only need the matching water container.
I bought other microdrippers from Gardena for my tomato plants because even 4 of the ones supplied per plant were not enough. I have installed the adjustable and pressure compensating ones. These are adjustable from 1-8L/h, the ones supplied only give 0.5L of water per hour. I had my doubts at first, but so far it's working. However, I can imagine that you can't install as many as you want before the water pressure is no longer sufficient.
Hello, I don't know the exact values. In my application, there was a good metre between the intake and the pump and another metre between the pump and the outlet. So two metres difference and it worked fine.
Both sets are of equal quality, but the Gardena Solar Irrigation AquaBloom L Set (Drip Irrigation Set) is suitable for up to 30 plants, so more components are included, making it ideal for larger gardens or more plants.
Well, you can. However, you have to synchronize the pumps exactly. Usually you set a timer that they pump for lets say 20min in 24h. If you set both pumps at the same time, this would work as long as they stay in sync.
I have never had this problem before. Maybe an installation error?
If you still have a warranty, I would open a warranty claim and send it back. My Bloom has never done that. If you're out of warranty, is it possible that the switch has come loose and is no longer in the right place?
No, only with batteries that are charged via the solar cells. I also charge the batteries separately to 100% from time to time. Especially before holidays for safety reasons.
Hello, according to the instructions, the battery must be charged. ( Red = There is no more watering. Placing the aquaBloom in the sun or charging the batteries separately is necessary) Greetings and good luck
I am of the opinion that 8 m is not a problem if it runs on one level.
No. The pores would be completely blocked. The pores would be completely blocked.
I did not have that problem so cannot comment. I’m sure you tried cleaning around the unit. Another issue is that sometimes the system does not observe the timing and does not go on. Hope you find a solution.
It may already be due to the pressure, as the water chooses the path of least resistance, it may be that one dripper needs more pressure than others. Maybe a few drippers are slightly clogged and need to be cleaned. I would try to blow through everything. Not only the drippers but also the connectors and the pump.
Oh, I have the same problem. I bought two sets and one works and the other not at all. I discovered that several stoppers had disappeared so had to replace them. It still does not work. If you find a solution, please share it here. I’ll do the same.
No. I have also connected some of these drippers BUT the water pressure is lower here. As a result, more water runs off through the micro drippers, which means that too little pressure is built up and no more water comes in at other points. The other nozzle variants do not work at all because of the lower water pressure.
If you set the clock, for example, at 08.00 in the morning, watering starts immediately for the set duration - after 12 or 24 hours the unit switches on again. You can adjust the setting at any time.
Physically, this is possible (communicating tubes, negative pressure, ....). Maybe you have to interrupt the main tube and let some air in, then it will probably stop. Best regards!
The real title should be Solar-powered Irrigation AquaBloom Set and the pictures could be updated. I asked for an update :) More information on the manufacturer's website: https://www.gardena.com/int/products/watering/holiday-watering/solar-powered-irrigation-aquabloom-set/967999001/.
Well, pack it in the box and send it back to Galaxus?
You don't need any other accessories. In addition, the other (orange) drippers and attachments from Gardena only work to a limited extent, as this device works with lower water pressure. I water my raised bed of approx. 1m2 with such a device.
