Product details
The updated version of Michelin's Wild Enduro Racing series is lighter and rolls faster than its predecessors. Michelin has eliminated the "Front" designation for this tire (although there is still a "Rear" version), so no one can tell you that you have the wrong tire mounted if you are using a front tire on the rear wheel of your motorcycle.
This tire is now produced in two profiles: one for softer conditions ("MS") with more space between the tread blocks to clear mud, and the other for harder surfaces ("MH") with tighter blocks for more rubber contact with the ground. If you are using the "MH" tire, you should probably pair it with this tire on the front and the specific rear tire on the back. If you are using the "MS" tires, most people will want to mount these on both the front and rear. Michelin also manufactures a full-fledged mud tire.
All tires in the Wild Enduro Racing Line use the Magi-X compound, which Michelin claims is designed for a consistent temperature range between 5 and 40 degrees. Tires that are not part of the Racing Line are also available in the Gum-X compound if you need a winter-ready tire.
