This vacuum sealer is much simpler than the other GASTROBACK model: Nevertheless, it also stands out for its proper speed in vacuuming and sealing and opens up a lot of room for manoeuvre. Apart from the very moderate power consumption, it is also nice that it has a cutter to cut rolls of film precisely.
The Design Vacuum Sealer Basic offers all the important functions without any additional bells and whistles. This makes it easy to use and it also delivers good to very good results. However, the loud operating noise of the appliance is annoying.
