Product details
4 mm thin patch cable, optimal for use in racks and for VoIP applications. 4-pair twisted, AWG36, length imprinted on both ends. Cat6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz.
They are used for signal transmission with high data transmission rates (1 Gbps). Because of the high signal frequencies, special care must be taken during laying and assembly, especially at the connection points of the cores. The individual wire pairs of Cat6 are twisted differently, which reduces the susceptibility to interference even more than with Cat5e. Applications for Cat6 cables are voice and data transmission, as well as multimedia and ATM networks. Cables according to Cat6e (500 MHz) and Cat6a (625 MHz) are even more powerful. The slimpatch cables offer a great advantage when cabling racks and 48-port switches. Due to the extremely thin processing and the great flexibility, you avoid a mess of the cables and thus keep the overview.
A Wirewin Cat6 slimpatch cable has a flexible and wide jack protection as well as a length imprint on both ends. So you finally have some order in your distribution cabinets again. They are the optimal solution for connecting IP telephones to your network. Due to their short grommet and flexibility, these cables are ideal for this application. Despite the extremely thin construction, a Power over Ethernet supply of the IP telephones is also possible via these cables. Furthermore, the cables are no longer flat as usual - they have a round shape.
The AWG (American Wire Gauge) system is based on the manufacturing process of wires and expresses the conductor strength of the copper wire. AWG36 = 0.0127 mm² conductor cross-section.
