Product details
The TL-SF1005P is an unmanaged switch with five 10 / 100 Mbps ports that requires no configuration and provides four Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports. It can automatically detect and provide power to all
IEEE 802.3af-compliant devices (PDs). In this situation, the electrical power is transmitted along with the data in a single cable, allowing the network to expand to where there are no power lines or outlets.
- Power over Ethernet
4 of the 5 autotuning RJ45 ports (port 1 to 4) of the switch support Power over Ethernet (PoE). These PoE ports can automatically detect PoE-compatible network devices and provide power to IEEE802.3af powered devices (PDs). The power is transported along with the data over a single cable.
- Intelligent Power Management
As soon as the total power consumption of PoE-powered devices is greater than or equal to 57W, priorities are assigned among the PoE ports. To protect the system in case of overloading, it is then decided to distribute the power or to switch off the power supply on the port with the lowest priority.
