Overall, the Momentum 4 scores with brilliant sound and good technology. Compared to 200-euro headphones such as those from Valco or Audio-Technica, the Momentum 4 sound more detailed and powerful with a nevertheless controlled bass. In terms of ANC, it lags slightly behind the best-in-class Sony XM5, but sounds a bit more characterful, sits more comfortably and has a few additional functions.
The latest incarnation of Sennheiser Momentum headphones, the Momentum 4, is technically and functionally up to date. In terms of fit and sound, however, the progress is less clear and the Momentum 4 ranks in the middle of the price range.
Sennheiser has improved its Momentum headphones all around. Finally, a high-resolution audio codec for Bluetooth has been integrated with aptX Adaptive. Although this still does not have as high a bandwidth as the LDAC codec in the Sony headphones, it represents an audible step forward...

After a few fine adjustments, you get a good to very good sound. The battery life of the Sennheiser Momentum 4 of about two days is outstanding.
