Like all PRO lenses, this novelty shines with compact dimensions, low weight and outstanding optical performance right up to the edge of the image. In starry skies, for example, it reproduces stars as
circular light points, even at the edge of the image. In addition, there are practical PRO functions such as the manual focus coupling for the quick change from AF to MF by pulling the focus ring towards the camera body and an easily accessible and freely assignable L-Fn button.
The fast and versatile ultra-wide-angle newcomer is weatherproof - thanks to 11 separate seals. It allows a shooting distance of only 7.5 cm (measured from the end of the lens), about 20% closer than equivalent lenses from other manufacturers. Besides, it's only half as heavy. Ideal for freehand shooting with impressive depth of field day or night. In combination with the powerful image stabilizer of the OM-D, pin-sharp and clear wide-angle shots are achieved.

Und hier bleibt die Verzeichnung ebenso wie die Vignettierung gering, auch an der Bildschärfe gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Lediglich bei 7 mm sind die Ecken offen merklich schwächer, legen aber dann bei Blende 5,6 zu...
