"Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze" is getting ready to make its debut on Nintendo Switch.

The cattle kings from the Arctic Ocean have put Donkey Kong Island into permafrost. Now it's up to the Kongs to make sure there's a thaw.

Across six islands filled with danger, hidden collectibles and encounters with unforgettable bosses, you'll have to prove your swimming, swinging and jumping skills along with Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong and Funky Kong. Using each character's special abilities, explore every corner of the islands to discover special items and secret exits.

In a mode specifically for Nintendo Switch, you can groove your way through levels as cool surfer Funky Kong. You can double jump, float, and roll infinitely. Underwater, even row upon row of spiral twists are no problem. Even thorns can't harm Funky Kong's surfboard. This laid-back guy comfortably surfs through the most dangerous levels. You can either play the game solo or join a buddy in two-player co-op mode. Combine your forces to put the cattle-walker's plans on hold.
