The switch supports the IEEE 802.1p QoS standard and prioritizes data, particularly for streaming, VoIP, and online gaming. D-Link Green Technology saves energy and reduces heat generation, thereby extending the product's lifespan without compromising performance. IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) detects when a connected computer is turned off or when there is no Ethernet traffic, allowing the port to shut down. It also recognizes the length of the cable used at each port and adjusts its performance to use only the energy necessary for good transmission.
