The MPD226 features four knobs, four faders and four buttons with three banks of buttons - 36 controls in total, compared to 12 on the MPD26 - allowing you to get the best sound and precise control over effects. MIDI data is transferred to your Mac or PC via the plug-and-play USB interface without the need to install any drivers.

Not only have we refined the general functionality, with the Camera Conection Kit (sold separately) the MPD series is now also iOS compatible. Also included is a software package worth around €400 (Big Bang Drums and Big Bang Cinema from Sonivox, Ableton Live Lite and a software preset editor).
