Product details
The Swiss station clock of the SBB is a legendary piece of Swiss design. It displays the time in Swiss train stations. In 1944, Hans Hilfiker, a Swiss engineer and employee of the Swiss Federal Railways, created a clock that became world-famous as the "official Swiss station clock." In 1986, this clock made the leap to the wrist. For this purpose, it was subtly refined for contemporary life. Its slightly rounded shape with an almost seamless transition to the case back was ergonomically designed for ultimate comfort. This rounded form is emphasized by a high-quality sapphire glass. Refined lugs and a new functional crown are perfectly proportioned to each other for precise balance.
