Very stylish smart body scales with a great app
Very stylish smart scale with corresponding Withings app. Measurement data is stored in the cloud, an account must be created. Immediately after the measurement and the start of the app, all data is already updated because the scale is in the WLAN. The smartphone does not need to be near the scale. Great analyses in the app, also imports data from Apple Health, e.g. steps, sleep tracking, activities, etc.
Very easy to set up, initially the scale talks to the smartphone via Bluetooth, you have to enter the code displayed in the APP during the initial setup. After that, the scale is in the WLAN and you no longer need to have your smartphone nearby to take measurements.
You could also add a second scale in the APP, then the measurements, regardless of which scale you measure on, will automatically go into your profile in the APP. For example, if you have a Withings scale in two different flats. The data cannot be viewed between the profiles. The person is automatically recognised by weight and the name is displayed. If not (if several people are very close to each other in terms of weight), you can switch to the correct profile by moving your foot.
Great high-resolution colour display with excellent contrast, very easy to read when standing on the scales. Displays various measurements such as weight, BMI, % fat (including visceral fat), muscle, bone, water, pulse wave velocity, vascular age, nerve health, heart rate. Weather (location can be entered) and air quality are also available. If you don't need this, simply switch it off in the display settings as you wish.
I took it in white. I can imagine that any dirt deposits, dust or water/lime drops etc. are not as visible as on the black version, which is probably a little less delicate and looks more elegant. You always have to go barefoot on the scales to take the body measurements.
Requires 4x 1.5V AAA standard batteries. One set is included in the delivery. The % level of the batteries is also displayed in the APP and should last up to approx. 15 months according to the manufacturer.
However, nothing works without the APP, registration with Withings and data storage in the cloud is also a must. However, the account can be password-protected and secured using 2-factor authentication if required. You don't have to take out this Withings+ plan, which is subject to a fee.

ok but not reliable
The scales are nice and would also be good for measuring weight, body functions, heart rate etc. and transferring them to the app. Unfortunately, this doesn't always work. Sometimes you have to step on the scales 3 or 4 times for everything to be displayed and it is not always displayed on the app. It works randomly. I wouldn't buy it again for the price.
