You can choose between displaying the result in degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit. If the measured body temperature is below 38 degrees Celsius (100.4 Fahrenheit), a smiling face appears on the TM-65E display and a beep is emitted. If the temperature is equal or higher, a sad face appears, it beeps three times and the signal LED lights red. With the night mode of the thermometer, the key tones can be deactivated to avoid unnecessary noise when measuring at night. Once the measurement has been taken, the device switches off automatically after 30 seconds. Its automatic memory function also enables it to remember the last 30 measurements.
