Founded in 1935, Schleich is now one of the largest toy manufacturers in Germany and a leading provider of play figures internationally. Since then, Schleich has managed to captivate children and adults around the world, selling products in more than 50 countries. Schleich gained worldwide recognition starting in 1965 with the distinctive blue Smurfs. From the 1980s onwards, animal figures were produced, which still form the core of the company today. Six different themed worlds with around 600 products have emerged from this, including popular licensed products from various partners.

Schleich sells 50 million figures annually, which amounts to about 150,000 pieces daily.
