Product details
Set of 17 resin parts and a photo-etched set to represent various radio devices. The Enigma was a rotor cipher machine developed by A. Scherbius for civilian use and patented in 1918. During World War II, it was used both militarily and civically in German communications. The Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, Navy, police, Reichspost, and Reichsbahn, as well as intelligence services, diplomatic services, SD, and SS, utilized it for secure communication. The word Enigma is Greek and means puzzle.
