Product details
The Eichhorn Mikado game should be played on a flat and smooth surface, such as asphalt or tiles. The first player gathers all the sticks together and places them on the ground. Then, they suddenly let go, and all the sticks fall in a jumble on the ground. Now, the player tries to remove one stick at a time without moving the other sticks. Depending on their skill, there are different methods to do this, such as simply picking one up, carefully rolling it away, pulling it out, or standing it up. For the latter, pressure is applied to the pointed end of a stick. If a second stick wobbles while removing one, the game is interrupted. The remaining sticks are collected, and the next player takes their turn. After a predetermined number of rounds, for example, 5, the player with the highest total score from their sticks wins. In the event of a tie between two players, the one with the most sticks wins. The Mikado game is a social and skill-based game that can be played with children aged 3 and up. Body control, fine motor skills, an overview of the overall game situation, such as recognizing different positions and drawing conclusions like "What happens if?" make the game very multifaceted for children. The Eichhorn Mikado sticks are 50 cm long and have a diameter of 6 mm. The Eichhorn Outdoor Mikado comes in a practical carrying net for storage and transport.
