The new Q1 smoke detector from KIDDE is one of the first smoke detectors to carry the new Q-label and has been tested and certified according to the new vfdb guideline 14/01. In addition to a minimum power supply of ten years, the detector must meet further strict quality criteria according to 14/01. This includes, among other things, a particularly high level of protection of the components against corrosion, increased protection of the measuring chamber, but also maximum electromagnetic compatibility. Only such quality criteria offer you the certainty that your smoke alarm really works without any problems over the entire operating time.
