For the extra thick (XT) Ether Light design, Sea to Summit uses numerous TPU loops to connect the upper and lower fabric layers with the point-welded Air Sprung Cell chambers. These loops allow the layers to be positioned further apart, creating larger air pockets when inflated—perfect for side sleepers. This design also requires less fabric overall, resulting in great stability and comfort at a lower weight.
