With its thoughtful features, the Deuter Trekking Backpack Fox 30 accompanies young explorers on extended adventures or to the next scout camp. And it does so for a long time, as its carrying system practically grows with the Vari-Quick back length adjustment. This children's and youth backpack has two zippered compartments, with the lower one suitable for a sleeping bag or dirty or damp laundry. The top compartment includes an external zippered pocket and one that is accessible only from the inside. Additional gear can be attached to the Fox 30's attachment straps (Daisy Chains) using tension straps. Equipped with many details familiar from larger adult backpacks – such as load adjustment straps, compression straps, and a compact hip belt – the Fox 30 is versatile for everything from multi-day hikes to mountain tours.
