Der ER400 mit einer Edelstahl-Kochschale und Trockengehschutz wird mit Hilfe des Messbechers mit Wasser befüllt und die Kochzeit über einen Drehknopf eingestellt. Der Eierkocher nimmt seine Arbeit auf, sobald das Gerät über den Ein-Aus-Schalter eingeschaltet wird. Der Eierstecher an der Unterseite des Messbechers ist etwas dick geraten, hier gingen leider zwei Eier zu Bruch...
Am Eierkocher von Rommelsbacher gibt es kaum etwas auszusetzen. Die Bedienung geht leicht von der Hand, wobei auch die Verarbeitung des Geräts und die Reinigung danach kein Problem darstellen. Toll ist auch die erstklassige Bedienungsanleitung.
