New CO2 cylinder
The product requires the new "Quick-Connect" CO2 bottle, the other system with a screw cap has to be exchanged. Presumably so that SodaStream can pocket all the profits itself, as there are hardly any cheaper alternatives from Coop and Migros.
At least a gas bottle is included in the scope of delivery, as well as enough bottles for water.Pro

Worst online purchase in a long time
I wanted a machine to make sparkling water at a reasonable price and avoid wasting bottles... after using Sodastar for several years, I had no idea that Sodastream refills cost twice as much...
It's cheaper for me to simply buy bottled sparkling water, or buy a new Sodastar kit...
I strongly advise against it unless you're rich!Pro
