    Unfortunately disappointed

I am very disappointed with my purchase. The coffee grinder retains far too much coffee. You have to jiggle and tap the appliance so that everything falls out of the grinder... but I still sometimes have 17.5g, 17.2g, 17.8g, 18.2g of ground coffee. Which is extremely detrimental to a consistently good espresso... clearly not recommended!

    Pro

    • Compact (does not take up much space)
    • Simple adjustment of the grinding degree
    • Easy to clean

    Contra

    • Retains far too much coffee
    • Not constant enough

Efficient but with too much retention

Convenient coffee grinder, grinding degrees far too many, very useful grinding for single doses; consistency in coffee grinding degree is impeccable. Used for Aero, lever espresso and mocha, everything according to expectations (if retention is calculated every time). Too bad for the unobtrusive noise, the retention is not negligible in terms of quantity and constancy, especially when used for espresso with lever machines where correct weighing is indispensable, aesthetically and solidly compromising plastic body, coffee accumulation on the base after removing the grind container at the end of the grind (if the grinder is carelessly touched, ground coffee falls out), inside the bean container there is always a build-up of grinding residue which is probably created by opening the cap, the vacuum created sucks up the coffee residue left in the grinds.

    Pro

    • Intuitive and convenient
    • Grinding grades
    • Aesthetically discreet
    • Grinding force
    • Consistency in the degree of grinding

    Contra

    • Plastic shell
    • Excessive coffee retention
    • Accumulation of coffee on the base
    • Noise
    • Coffee accumulation in the tank

Happy every time I grind my beans

You get what you pay for. This grinder might be on the pricier side but for what you pay, it more than makes up for with its clever design and unseen details like the measuring marks inside the lid or magnetic base so the container is never out of place. Grinding beans has never been such a joyful experience.

    Pro

    • Beautiful design, magnetic base ensures container's always in place
    • Well-made, sturdy
    • Lid can be used to measure 40 or 20gm beans

    Contra

    • On the pricey side
    • Need to tap the lid after grinding so remaining ground beans don't fall everywhere

    Great price / quality

Great for the price (paid 190chf). Plug is not CH and adaptater provided is black. Cable is not removable.

Retention is somewhat random. At time it can retain 2+ grams. At time <0.2g. Unsure what the cause is.

    Grinds great.
The grind setting wheel can get stuck at times, however.

Best in price range. Built quality is ok.
