This set turns any fondue gathering into a festive feast. The interplay of colors with the Swiss alpine meadow silhouette makes it particularly popular. The set includes a high-quality induction-compatible caquelon, a rechaud, a paste burner, and 6 forks with plastic handles. When using the paste burner in contact with an open flame, discoloration may occur. This is purely an optical change and does not affect functionality in any way. Instructions for use | After use, leave the caquelon filled with cold water for a short time to make it easier to remove cheese residues (do not leave it in a water bath). The caquelon can then be easily cleaned with a cleaning brush and washing-up liquid: In rare cases, the induction hob may not recognise the ceramic caquelon. We therefore recommend carrying out a brief function check before using it for the first time: Place the empty caquelon on the hob and switch to a medium setting. If a connection is established and remains stable for 30 seconds, the caquelon will work on your hob without any problems. If the hob does not recognise the caquelon or the connection is lost before 30 seconds have elapsed, please contact Kuhn Rikon Customer Service. Never use the power setting on induction hobs when preparing fondue. This can cause the base of the caquelon to overheat. We recommend the use of an aluminium heat distribution plate (Art. 32045) on the rechaud to ensure optimum heat distribution. |
