The Katadyn Hiker replacement element should be replaced after 1150 litres at the latest. Due to the not too small glass fibre filter surface a particularly fast and good pumping performance is given (approx. 1 litre/min.) The filter protection, which can be cleaned, provides for additional longevity and the activated carbon for an improved taste. The water is safely purified from bacteria, algae, spores, protozoa, sediments and cysts.
