- Good suction power on hard floors and against pet hair
- neat navigation via laser
- Clear and complete app
- lousy, outdated wipe function
- "Twin turbine" on carpet only marketing stunt
- Too expensive for what is offered
- Many smart functions
- Fast and persistent on the road during cleaning trips
- hardly recognises objects lying around
- Wipes only tentatively and fleetingly
The Eufy rolls over the dirty floor with two motors and twice the suction power, but doesn't clean twice as well because of that. On the contrary: In the tested area, quite a bit of pet hair and dirt remained. It cleaned corners and edges more conscientiously. Awarded a score of 2.2 in the overall test, it barely recognises objects and does not recognise carpets at all when mopping - and rolls over...
Cleaning robots promise that you will never have to vacuum or mop again. Stiftung Warentest regularly tests what the robots can do on hard floors or carpets, how thoroughly they mop and what they are good at in practice. There are many good models, but the price differences are large: Between 160 and 1400 euros.
- Top navigation
- Pleasant app control
- Snappy
- Problems with carpet fringes
- No suction function on the charging station
- Weak suction power
- Sucks solidly
- quite quiet
- Many smart functions
- Wipes something cursory
- Barely recognises objects
Eufy is the smarthome brand of the electronics manufacturer Anker. The X8 Hybrid is supposed to score with "twin turbines" and strong suction power. In testing, it worked quickly and conscientiously on corners and edges, but left a little more dirt than Ecovacs and Roborock on the surface.
