I have a new Samsung 4 K Oled 70 T with cable TV so no TV box. The Philips Hue lihgt strip does not work, (have connected and connected Bride and Sincbox). Does the system only work with a TV box?

The picture (video) must come via HDMI to your TV via the Sync Box, because the light control is calculated from the HDMI signal in the Sync Box. There is another possibility vis USB cable from the TV to the sync box here I have a good link for you there you should understand how the whole thing works:
