An exhausting special assignment from their grandmother forces Kasperl and Seppl to make their way to the recycling centre with all kinds of junk. On the way they meet Brigitte Berger, the city's alms receiver. Her flat under the town museum is threatened because the mayor wants to blow up the museum.
