Will this Adapter allow me to connect my LED Cinema Display (27-inch) with a Mini Displayport to my MacPro with Thunderbolt 3?

Yes i guess. This type of Adapter only goes one Way: Thunderbolt 3 TO Mini Displayport. So you still need a Mini Displayport Cable to connect the Adapter to the Monitor.
