Helpful answer

it has a 1x4 pin chassis fan header and a 1x4 pin aura rgb header...but since it also has a usb2.0 header you can e.g. connect a corsair commander core xt then you would have space for 6x fans and 6 x rgb....but the fans have to be from corsair, the corsair icue software is available for free from the manufacturer...here are the specs for the board...rog.asus.com/ch-de/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b760-i-g...

Hello GrigoriosD
The short simple answer is that you can only connect 2 fans to the board alone. Without additional hardware like aRGB hubs, you can only connect one aRGB fan and one 12V RGB fan.

Detailed answer: (according to the operating instructions dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1700/ROG_STRIX_B760-I_GAMIN...).

The mainboard has 2 (PWM) controlled fan connections "CPU_FAN" and "CHA_FAN" as well as a water pump connection, with which an enclosure fan and either a CPU fan or an AiO water cooling pump can be controlled together with a radiator fan.
I have to put the answer to the number of RGB fans into perspective, because:
- the 12V RGB connection is basically a single control channel, which is ideally designed for a simple old-fashioned RGB LED strip with the pin assignment 12V/green-ground/red-ground/blue-ground.
- the aRGB connection can (according to the operating instructions) control up to 500 LEDs.
=> If you want to connect more than one aRGB fan and/or one 12V RGB fan/strip, you will need hubs for lighting and fan control on this mainboard.

Here are a few suggestions for the decision-making process (this is not meant ironically, but really as a help, so please don't be angry):
=> Since the mainboard is designed in the Mini-ITX form factor to fit into very small PC cases, sooner or later you will have to ask yourself whether you can even fit more than 2 fans into a very small Mini-ITX case? (There will usually be practically no space or you won't be able to see the RGB effects well). I installed this mainboard in a Fractal Terra, for example, and had to leave out the planned case fan because in my opinion it would have come too close to the power cables under the power supply.
=> If you want to use a larger case for more fans (e.g. several front and top fans and/or a water cooling system), don't you want to switch directly to a larger mainboard, e.g. in ATX form factor, and then have many more connections anyway? (Experience shows that a Mini-ITX board usually looks very tiny in an ATX case).
=> If you want to install 3 or more RGB fans anyway, fan bundles such as the LL120 from Corsair make the cabling work a little easier for you, as an aRGB hub is usually already included (e.g. controlled via USB2 port). With these sets you may only need a PWM hub so that the speed of all fans on the mainboard can be controlled via a single connection.

I apologise if my answer was too detailed, but I hope I was able to help you a little.
With kind regards
