The Store 'n' Save USB 3.0 Desktop Hard Drive from Verbatim offers powerful storage with USB 3.0 "SuperSpeed" interface. USB 3.0 offers up to ten times faster data transfer rates than USB 2.0 (based on
USB bus speed), enabling lightning-fast data transfer on the go. USB 3.0 is fully compatible with USB 2.0.The Store 'n' Save drive can be placed flat or on its side as needed to take up as little space as possible on your desktop.The drive comes with Nero Backup (not compatible with Mac OS), which is pre-installed. This allows you to schedule, compress and encrypt your data backup and ensure that you never lose important files. Verbatim hard drives also include the "Green Button" energy saving software. "Green Button" prevents the drive from turning when not in use. This increases efficiency and also saves energy. 3 sleep mode options are available. The interrupt mode can be set after 10 minutes of use or in increments of 10 minutes to 120 minutes each. To immediately interrupt the rotation of the drive, double-click the "Green Button" icon on the desktop. Other features:-Cache: 8 MB or larger Drive: SATA - Hi-Speed interface: 1 x USB 3.0 switch for on/off EU and GB connector.
