Product details
The access point is ideal for high-density environments, such as a large auditorium or concert hall with many clients in a relatively small space. It supports up to 1500 users as the theoretical maximum
(up to 750 users are recommended). The UniFi XG AP's built-in, dedicated security and monitoring radios provide insight into site performance, channel scheduling and local disturbances, allowing you, the integrator, to properly assess performance and quickly respond to changing interference and security threats. The primary port of the UniFi XG is designed as a 10G Ethernet backhaul, transmitting both data and PoE, while the secondary Gigabit Ethernet port is used for bridging and also supports PoE input. The access point can be powered via an 802.3bt PoE-compliant switch. The UniFi Controller Software allows convenient configuration and easy monitoring with a graphical user interface. A single instance of the UniFi Controller in the cloud can manage multiple sites. As part of the Wave 2 evolution of the 802.11ac standard, multi-user MIMO technology was introduced. By using multi-user MIMO, this device can stream data to multiple devices simultaneously.
