Product details
Multimedia synthesizer and sequencer. Digital workstation with synthesis parts, sequencer, effects, and video output. 51 keys. 16-step sequencer. 160 patterns. Effect section consisting of modular, expandable effects. Capable of outputting images, videos, and animations. More than eight years ago, Teenage Engineering launched the OP-1. This revolutionary portable all-in-one synthesizer became an icon in the music industry. Initially, there was skepticism at the launch, and many viewed it as a toy rather than a real synthesizer due to its size, colorful buttons, and unusual user interface. With the introduction of the OP-Z, the style-conscious Swedes are pushing all boundaries once again. This machine is so incredibly compact that it borders on the outrageous. The OP-Z is about half the size of its big brother but has more DSP power that consumes less energy, allowing you to cross the Atlantic four times while producing complete songs on 16 tracks before running out of juice. However, the OP-Z is about much more than "just" composing music. The Z stands for a third dimension: the depth and creativity in making music, whether it's animated art and videos accompanying a live show or sequenced lighting, all the way to your own interactive software.
