The 70-180mm f/2.8 G2 is an evolution of the first generation of the highly acclaimed 70-180mm zoom lens, which has been highly acclaimed since its launch and has been improved in several ways. The most important new feature is the integration of the image stabiliser VC developed by Tamron. Despite this new piece of equipment, which allows you to obtain nicer images even at lower focal lengths, the 70-180mm F/2.8 G2 is still the most compact and lightest lens in its category.
The revised optical construction of the 70-180mm F/2.8 G2 allows you to obtain a high quality image without compromising on the entire focal length. At 70mm, the longest point-of-view distance is only 0.3m, which represents an improvement of 0.55m and considerably increases the possibilities for creative use of this luminescent zoom. The new version of the model is equipped with the autofocus VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) developed by Tamron with a linear motor.aire, which allows you to focus on the subject at the speed of the camera and with precision in both photo and video. The object is compatible with the Tamron Lens Utility application and the Tamron Lens Utility Mobile application. These two applications have been developed by TAMRON. They allow you to configure the lens according to the user's needs in order to best adapt its function to the viewing situation. The new design of the object is distinguished by its comfort of use and its resistant surface.
