Product details
Its advanced processing technology ensures high resolution, reduced chromatic aberration and minimised reflections and ghosting - the perfect lens for outstanding shooting. With four XD linear motors, this lens offers exceptional AF performance, fast tracking and even Breathing Compensation, making it suitable for both photography and film production.
As the world's smallest and lightest F2.8 wide-angle zoom lens, it offers unparalleled portability and, when combined with other fast lenses, reduces the overall weight of the system. The dust and moisture resistant design and fluorine coating provide excellent control and reliability.

Six years ago the Sony FE 2.8/16-35 mm GM was in our lab, now the FE 2.8/16-35 mm GM Il comes along and shows that a wide-angle zoom can also really score at the edge. At 2700 euros, the price at the start of sales is once again high, but unlike many other new releases at the moment, it has not risen...
With the FE 2.8/16-35 mm GM Il, Sony is also sending its third Trinity zoom into its second generation. We have already been able to test the 2700 euro zoom in the laboratory and in practice.
