Product details
A new world of image processing with further improvements in resolution, sensitivity, dynamic range, processing speed and shooting response. The α7R III offers greater flexibility in capturing brilliant
images in any situation thanks to its compact, fixed housing and professional operation. With this high performance, precision and potential overall, you have the tool to capture irretrievable experiences forever.
The image processing system has been further developed with regard to high resolution and low noise over a larger ISO range. The camera depicts both the mood of the scene environment and the structure of details.
The Quad-VGA OLED Tru-Finder with high resolution provides a natural looking high precision viewfinder image. The functional advantages of an EVF, such as high visibility in the dark and AF function when using a larger display, are further optimized for powerful recording support. Even greater versatility is achieved by the small, lightweight housing of the α7R III, which is sufficiently robust and stiff for demanding use.
Capture a brief moment with continuous shooting and up to 10 frames per second with AF/AE tracking. Large data volumes at 42.4 MP preserve high image quality, which has a beneficial effect on your creative cropping.
This camera enables silent shooting at up to 10 frames per second with AF/AE tracking. Silence is critical when recording wild animals.
Autofocus performance is enhanced by the integrated autofocus performance and its optimal application. So when the α7R III captures a wild animal whose movements are not predictable, it does not let it out of focus so quickly.
In α7R III, Eye AF has been enhanced with twice faster, more effective eye recognition and capture, even when capturing a motion-intensive portrait subject.
399 phase detection autofocus points, covering approximately 68% of the image area width and height, plus 425 tightly focused AF points for contrast detection, improve focus that would otherwise be impossible to achieve.
Improved AF algorithms contribute to high autofocus precision at light levels down to EV-3 for more reliable autofocus in dark scenes.
New multifunction selector, AF-ON button and touch focus functions ensure fast and intuitive focus operation. Thanks to built-in dual slots and compatibility with the NP-FZ100 large-capacity battery, there are much fewer interruptions when shooting with the α7R III because you don't have to change media and battery so often.
Capture up to 76 compressed RAW-16 or JPEG images in burst mode continuous shooting. So you can concentrate confidently and without distraction on the serial shooting in burst mode.

Very good100/100
- Neuer Akku mit mehr Kapazität
- Doppelter Speicherkartenslot
- Einführungspreis nicht höher als bei der A7R II
- Hohe Sensorauflösungsleistung, unverändert zur Vorgängerin
- Keine signifikante Video-Verbesserung
Very good100/100
Very good99/100
