Product details
The HD 560S was developed with linear acoustics and powerful bass for demanding music enthusiasts. Music lovers enjoy their music on a variety of devices - with dedicated amplifiers, audio interfaces and also directly from the PC. The HD 560S offers linear acoustics and high precision at an affordable price. Whether for music enjoyment or as a means to an end, the HD 560S reproduces the source material transparently. With its open design, the HD 560S allows sound waves to expand unhindered, thus preventing the disruptive reflections of the closed design. Sennheiser's E.A.R. (Ergonomic Acoustic Refinement) technology with angled transducers imitates the sound directivity of stereo loudspeakers. This combination enables a natural, wide stage and localised fine detail of instruments that is far superior to other headphones. The HD 560S's high-performance transducers are specifically designed for precision at the edges of the audible frequency spectrum, making them ideal for reliable A/B testing of components, mixes and a wide variety of audio formats. They are broadband neutral and also reveal sound ranges where conventional speakers often fail - between 20 and 50 Hz. The brand new 120 Ohm transducer with an innovative polymer blend cone enables a highly linear excursion and optimised brilliance at frequencies above 10 kHz. The powerful magnets ensure high impulse fidelity, while the finely tuned damping compensates for turbulence and delivers dry, powerful bass - connoisseurs can hear the difference. The HD 560S is a reliable playing partner in any situation, guaranteeing hours of fatigue-free listening. Even though the sound of the HD 560S is based on the modern classic HD 660S, the mechanics were developed on the basis of the lightweight and robust 500 series.

- Neutral and musical at the same time
- airy, open sound
- Spatial sound similar to studio
Sennheiser is one of the greats in the headphone market for a reason. But with the HD 560S, the company from Lower Saxony has outdone itself. Such a lot of detail, neutrality, musicality and wearing comfort for 200 euros is a super achievement. We will still dream of the remarkable openness and spatiality of the sound.

It's crazy: Sennheiser is seriously competing with the great HD 660S with a new product, and for less than half the price. In any case, the HD 560S is an amazing little brother that plays precisely and cleanly and has the slightly livelier, livelier character. Clean and punchy in the bass, and never overbearing, comfortable on the head and with clear side markings. Thick recommendation!
