Roku makes a German debut with its quartet of players and streaming soundbar with amazingly few quibbles. The fact that it doesn't get full marks is not least due to the fact that you have to deposit a payment method. The advertisements are also debatable - although Roku argues here with the refinancing of its low-priced players...
In the USA, Roku's streaming sticks are market leaders. Whether they will be able to reach this position in Germany one day remains to be seen. However, thanks to an almost complete range of apps and no ties to a particular provider, the chances are good. In addition, the system is much simpler than Fire OS and can therefore be operated by anyone...
