Caution firmware update!
At the beginning of 2023 there were reports of problems with these NVMes (as with the predecessor 980 Pro): https://www.tomshardware.com/news...

CAUTION: Our SSDs ordered in early 2024 (one year after the problems became known!) were still delivered with the original (0B...) and apparently faulty firmware! Two out of four generated access errors after a short time. After upgrading to the latest firmware (4B...), they have worked without any problems so far.Contra

I strongly recommend the "Samsung Magician" software to anyone who owns any Samsung memory!
With this software you can perform a firmware update on the Samsung storage media, which also helps with the problem of the lifespan of the memory.
