    elegant sports watch

Since I already wore a Garmin watch before, I chose the same brand again. Setting up and personalising the watch is very easy with a little familiarisation. In combination with the app, you are carefully guided through the functions.
It's very quick to use with the touch screen and meets all my requirements for a chic sports watch.
Visually, I find the watch very appealing, it also fits on a slim wrist. It doesn't have a "spaceship look" and looks very elegant. It can be combined excellently.
The battery life is excellent, even after a week of intensive use, the battery is still half charged.
In my eyes, a very fair price-performance ratio.

Perfect mix of smartwatch and tracking

Started with a FitBit Charge4 and was happy with it for my purposes. Wanted to create motivation for more exercise. Not a hardcore athlete, just sth. more exercise. However, after more than 2 years, I was not satisfied with it, as the display was not bright enough and also no longer responded as well.

After many reports and YouTube videos, I found the Venu 2S to be the most suitable model for me. It focuses more on sporting activity and less on the many apps of a smartwatch, but it has a sufficient amount of smartwatch functionality for my purposes. I'm more interested in my steps, activities/sports, sleep, pulse, etc. anyway. However, I still receive notifications from my smartphone if I want to, which I like to use depending on the situation.

Another decisive argument for me in choosing this model was that I don't have to charge it every second day. I can actually get through 6-7 days without recharging with about 1-2 recorded activities and I find the almost complete recharging in less than 2h very pleasant.

After using it for over two months, I am very happy with it.

Price/performance generally OK - glass NOT OK

    Pro

    • GPS tracking of the running route
    • Music can be listened to directly via Spotify without cell phone
    • Nice design, not too big
    • Self adjustable display

    Contra

    • The display has after a short already a deep scratch on the screen
    • The price is too high for the quality of the glass

Great lifestyle sports watch with a few quirks

Have the Garmin Venu 2S now a good 1 month in use and am all in all satisfied with it. This is my first sports watch. The setup was quick and easy. From the numerous functions and evaluations I was really positively surprised (sleep fitness and health tracking) Can not (yet) judge how accurate these evaluations are. You can also synchronize the Garmin with myFitnesspal, for calorie tracking.

The pedometer disappoints me a little. Already in the morning after showering (without watch), brushing teeth, dressing +Co. I am supposed to have already made +/- 600 steps ...? So my apartment is not so big again ;) So I just fade this out when calorie tracking.

The watch actually also offers a widget with which you can track your water consumption-and also reminds you to drink regularly. Unfortunately, this does not work at all for me. Because I always drink too little anyway, that was sometimes a reason to buy.

Still shortly before the bike ride still transfer a new playlist is not. also am "only" just under 100 songs about 20min. and the battery is also immediately empty. Since you do not do this is however justifiable-in my eyes at the price but a minus

Thus, on the whole a chic and functional sports watch with small flaws, which I would still buy again. Maybe I have simply not yet figured out how to improve these points. Maybe someone has an idea?

    Pro

    • Optics and processing quality convinced
    • Many pre-installed tranings, own can be added relatively easily
    • Listen to music without smartphone possible
    • Garmin app is clear and provides a lot of health data
    • Battery lasts me without pulse oximetry easy +/- 7 days
    • Fast charging function

    Contra

    • Step counter too inaccurate
    • Drink tracking does not work
    • Transferring Spotify playlists takes an extremely long time and sucks the battery empty
