If your turntable does not have a built-in amplifier, an external phono preamplifier is essential. It connects to a line-level input on the amplifier. The Pro-Ject Phono Box E BT 5 is not only an affordable solution for connecting a turntable with an MM cartridge, but it also solves the problem of wirelessly connecting a turntable or, for example, an analog tuner to your amplifier. The integrated Bluetooth® transmitter allows for wireless music playback on amplifiers or speakers with a Bluetooth® receiver.

The Pro-Ject Phono Box E BT 5 now also supports the latest Bluetooth® version 5.0 and higher, transmitting aptX® and high-resolution aptX® HD.

Technical specifications: Supports aptX® and aptX® HD codecs (the source device must support the respective aptX® Bluetooth® standard for aptX® transmission). Termination capacitance/resistance: 100pF/47kOhm (for high-output MC, moving iron, and MM cartridges). Gain: 34dB. Bluetooth® range: 10 meters, with direct line of sight from transmitter to receiver. External power supply (included).
