With the UM4 Li-Ion, Li-Ion IMR, NiMH/NiCd and LiFePO4 batteries can be charged. The Nitecore UM4 charger detects the type of battery, determines the battery status, the charge status of the battery and
automatically determines the correct charging procedure. The default charging current is 500mA. Depending on the battery type, this can be increased manually up to 1A and in QC mode up to 1.5A. Deeply discharged Li-Ion batteries can be reactivated in the UM4 (please refer to the operating instructions).
