On a sea voyage, Link is caught in a storm, shipwrecked and washed up on the beach of the island of Cocolint. To return home, he must master challenging dungeons and defeat fearsome monsters.

The new version of the classic game takes up many elements that already made the Game Boy title unmistakable - such as the rooms in the style of a 2D platformer or the appearances of characters who actually do not belong to The Legend of Zelda series.
