- Strong battery performance
- Sharp and bright display
- 5G
- Not waterproof
- Memory not expandable
The Motorola Edge 30 Neo is by far the handiest smartphone tested. It is also appealing because of its very bright, sharp and, thanks to OLED, high-contrast display. It also offers two functions that are more likely to be found in the luxury class: HDMI connection via USB-C adapter and wireless charging. However, it loses points in the tested working and operating speed. And it is not waterproof.
- fluid UI experience
- Bright OLED panel
- Desktop mode
- Stereo speakers
- 68 Watt Charger
- Low-light performance - small battery - partial image errors in full-screen mode - inaccurate GPS
- great, very bright OLED display with 120 Hz
- chic design
- limp battery
- Fair-weather camera
- not overly powerful
The Motorola Edge 30 Neo does not make it easy to reach a clear verdict. On the one hand, it is a decent smartphone with highlights in the display and wireless charging. It is also sufficiently chic, although this has less to do with the cooperation with Pantone and more with the thin design itself and the velvety back...
- Inductive charging possible
- short charging time
- bright display
- 5G
- Not waterproof
- Camera with weaknesses in zoom and low light
Germans spend an average of around 500 euros on a new smartphone, but the Edge 30 Neo is a good deal less than that at just under 340 euros. The overall package is impressive: a stylish design, a long-lasting battery and a very good display are on the plus side. The prospect of three years of updates is rather average, but at least you get an unmodified Android without bloatware...
- Compact housing with matt back
- 6.3 inch OLED display with 120 Hz
- Camera with OIS
- Inductively chargeable battery and 68 watt power supply unit
- Stereo speakers
- only splash water protection
