Magnat MTT 990
ManualProduct details
The Magnat MTT 990 is the first turntable in Magnat's history. And because the standard is so high, the first Magnat turntable could only be a direct drive turntable. The aim was to combine the reliability of studio and DJ turntables with audiophile acoustic properties.

With a little experience, you can see the MTT 990's OEM heritage. Magnat has not reinvented every knob and every bearing, but has made a fine hi-fi player out of good, carefully matched parts that is absolutely worth the money. Next to similar offerings from other manufacturers, it even seems rather affordable, especially since it comes with good mechanical foundations for later upgrades.
Test winner. Sounds good: lively and dynamic music reproduction, somewhat restrained bass. Easy to set up. Manual operation, direct drive. High-quality workmanship, robust against impact sound. Also plays shellac records. Heaviest unit in the test.
