The X1 Carbon is an absolute lightweight with a good 14-inch display and mobile phone module. Slight weaknesses in the display cost it a better place.
- Slim and lightweight business ultrabook
- First-class workmanship
- Extremely fast SSD
- Outstanding system performance
- Integrated LTE modem
- Long battery life
The classy ThinkPad came up trumps in the test with its high working speed, long battery life, low weight and rich equipment: It offers a comparatively large number of ports for an ultrabook, fast Wi-Fi ac and LTE for mobile surfing. However, the slightly distorted display of colours could be improved. The high price also hurts - the tested configuration variant costs a whopping 2560 euros.
