1000 GB, M.2 2280Product details
Kingston's KC2500 NVMe PCIe SSD offers powerful performance with the latest Gen 3.0 x 4 controller and 96-layer 3D TLC NAND. With read/write speeds of up to 3,500/2,900MB/s1, the KC2500 offers outstanding durability and improves workflow in desktop, workstation and HPC (high performance computing) systems. The compact M.2 design offers more flexibility, increases storage capacity and saves space at the same time.
Available in storage capacities from 250GB to 2TB to meet your system requirements. The KC2500 is a self-encrypting drive that supports end-to-end data protection using hardware-based XTS-AES 256-bit encryption and enables the use of independent software vendors with TCG Opal 2.0 security management solutions such as Symantec, McAfee, WinMagic and others. The KC2500 also has built-in support for Microsoft eDrive, a security storage specification for use with BitLocker.

The Kingston KC2500 1TB M.2 SSD does not have PCIe 4.0, but in the test it shows what is still possible with PCIe 3.0. It has some of the highest transfer rates among the PCIe 3.0 SSDs and has the strongest read and write performance overall. With fast access times and a high number of operations per second (iops), the KC2500 1TB can even compete with one or two other SSDs with PCIe 4.0...
In the M2. SSDs with PCIe 3.0 connection, a Samsung model was also top - namely the 970 Evo Plus. It also won the test and the price-performance award.
