The CR-ST80DAB DAB+ radio picks up FM and digital DAB+ radio programmes from the airwaves via antenna. In addition, the compact device is equipped to play Bluetooth streams from smartphones, tablets, or laptops and delivers impressive sound thanks to bass-reflex tuning and a 2 x 10 W amplifier.

DAB+ is the radio standard of today, allowing you to fully enjoy digital sound quality and a wide variety of programmes. In addition to receiving analogue FM stations, the DAB+ radio offers the possibility to access 250 digital radio programmes from DAB+ stations in Germany. Additional information about the DAB programmes is displayed in high quality on the TFT colour display.

A central, ultra-sharp 61 mm TFT colour display on the front panel shows the selected radio programme and other information such as a slideshow or station logo. The radio is operated via the buttons on the top of the unit or the infrared remote control included in the package. There are 20 presets each for DAB+ and FM stations. If required, the CR-ST80DAB switches off automatically after you fall asleep with the help of the integrated snooze function or starts playback at the programmed alarm time in the morning.

The integrated 2 x 10 watt amplifier and heavy-duty stereo speakers with a bass reflex system provide an amazingly mature sound with a rich low-frequency foundation considering the size of the cabinet. Those who want to use an MP3 player or portable CD player for music playback can connect them to the analogue 3.5 mm jack input. This way, mobile phones, tablets, and computers can also be connected to the radio via a cable. The mini-jack output, which is also integrated, allows the Kenwood radio to be connected to a stationary HiFi system or an active subwoofer for deep bass.
