JBL OpenSound Technology
OpenSound technology in the JBL Soundgear Sense earbuds provides a natural sound experience with almost zero sound leakage. Thanks to this innovation, the sound pressure is directed through waves towards the ears, while an opposite phase reduces sound dispersion. You enjoy your sound while your privacy is protected. The JBL Soundgear Sense rests on the curve of your ears without obstructing your ear canal, allowing you to hear both your sound and the world around you in full comfort.
Enhanced Dynamic Sound
Two smartly designed 16.2mm drivers—one in each earbud—feature a unique bass-enhancing algorithm, providing an amazing no-compromise sound experience with punchy bass and pure sound, allowing you to enjoy every beat while hearing the world around you.
Up to 24 hours of battery life, plus speed charge
For long-lasting fun, listen wirelessly for up to 6 hours and get another 18 from the charging case. If you're in a hurry, use the convenient Type-C USB cable—a quick 15-minute charge gives you 4 additional hours of music.
Hybrid open-ear headphones with detachable neckband
JBL Soundgear Sense true wireless open-ear headphones feature JBL OpenSound Technology with air conduction, which doesn't completely close off your ear canal, making them comfortable enough to wear for hours. Flexible earhooks rotate, so you can choose whether you want to focus on your music or calls, or let in more sound from the world around you. A detachable neckband provides an even more secure fit while you're working out, and an IP54 rating means that they can withstand sweat or even light rainfall. Your voice will be crystal clear, even on a windy day, thanks to four voice mics. Customize how you use the intuitive touch controls on each earbud to handle your music and calls with the My JBL Headphones app. JBL Soundgear Sense is as adaptable as you are.

JBL's debut in the open-ear market is a success. The Soundgear Sense convince with a balanced and pleasant sound. Thanks to the large plug body, they are also easy to use. Only the somewhat short battery life of six and a half hours and the large charging socket are minor drawbacks.

- Cumbersome to set up
The JBL SoundGear Sense performed solidly when tested and offer a lot of sound at a good price. The earbuds require a little patience to put on at first, but then sit securely and firmly. Even after prolonged wear, the comfort is still good, but spectacle wearers may be bothered by the design...

With the Soundgear Sense, JBL delivers open-ear headphones that offer entertaining sound for uncritical listeners. The sound can even compete with conventional in-ear headphones, which sit directly in the ear canal, and is really good by open-ear standards. The comfortable fit and the additional neckband round off the overall picture and make the Soundgear Sense really competent sports or leisure headphones...
The JBL Soundgear Sense Sense actually surprised me positively when I tested them, because the sound quality of the open-ear headphones is far superior to anything I've heard in this area before. JBL's innovative technology actually manages to deliver a rich, detailed and even bass-rich sound that doesn't lose too much...
